Highlighting Our Recent Cultural Events

In July 2026, in partnership with Xi'an Jinyuan International School, we visited Convitto Nazionale Cicognini in Prato, Italy, for a meaningful cross-cultural exchange. Following productive discussions, both sides reached a consensus on future collaboration. We are excited to offer the school's students and teachers a rich tapestry of Chinese cultural experiences—from museum explorations and cutting-edge NEV and AI technology sessions, to a thrilling flight simulator experience and a heartwarming visit to the Panda Zoo. They will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in China's timeless traditions through Kung Fu, calligraphy, and classical music. Our goal is to bring a fresh, dynamic perspective to Italian education and to build a bridge of mutual understanding and inspiration for the next generation of both nations.

In May 2026, IED – Istituto Europeo di Design conducted exchange activities with Linyi's universities and the Enterprise Design Association, with the goal of promoting Italian design concepts and products in China while bringing global vision to local institutions and industries. The initiative has paved new pathways and energized future cooperation in design education and industry between the two countries.

In April 2026, the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatorio di Musica di Brescia took the stage at Hefei Grand Theatre for a public welfare tour in China. Music bridged mountains and oceans, weaving a bond of friendship between Italy and China—where melodies spoke a universal language, and shared passion connected hearts across continents. The event garnered widespread praise from local authorities and media, with strong encouragement and support extended to Italian cultural initiatives of this kind.

We joined the Conservatorio dell'Aquila, the Accademia di Belle Arti dell'Aquila, and local government officials on a visit to Linyi University for academic exchange and cooperation discussions. Supported by all partners, the opera and art exhibitions were a perfect success. A consensus on educational cooperation was reached between the two sides. We look forward to deepening academic and educational exchanges between Italy and China through sustained collaboration.

In April 2025, the Chief Artistic Director of Teatro La Fenice crossed oceans to visit China for an academic and artistic exchange spanning over ten days. On this land, countless young voices aspire to sing the arias of Italy. So that art may know no distance, so that the melodies of the Mediterranean may resound beneath Eastern skies, we walk this path with unwavering joy.

In October 2025, the ITARTS Global Tour "Trame d'incontro," presented by the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility, made its Xi'an debut. Italian melodies soared across oceans to echo beneath the ancient walls of this millennial capital. That night, music dissolved all borders—Italy and China were brought heart-to-heart, closer than ever.

In March 2025, with the coordination and support of the Italy-China Cultural Exchange Association and Jiandan Art+, the Academy of Fine Arts of Bari and Qingdao Agricultural University came together across thousands of miles to formally sign a Memorandum of Understanding. Marking the 55th anniversary of Italy-China diplomatic relations, this agreement not only signifies a deepening of bilateral cooperation in education but also sounds a prelude for the next half-century of friendship, with art and education as its enduring threads.
